Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program
Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program
The AIPP represents a strategic partnership among the Government of Canada and the four provinces in Atlantic Canada: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island. It was launched in 2017 with a view to addressing labor shortages and driving economic growth by attracting and retaining skilled workers, intermediate-skilled workers, and international graduates in the Atlantic region. This provides great relief for most of the immigration process for employers in hiring qualified candidates abroad and for these candidates to seek permanent residence in the country.
