Work Permit
Work Permit
A Canadian work permit provides an avenue for foreign nationals to work in Canada; it can be either employer-specific or open. Employer-specific permits are offered for a specific job and employer, usually requiring an LMIA, while open work permits allow workers to work for any employer and are usually available for spouses of skilled workers or international students. A visa application based on a valid job offer may require proof of qualifications, language proficiency, a medical exam, and police certificates. The general procedure in this regard will then be: submitting the application with all attached documents and then waiting for it to be processed. This permit gives very fine work experience and possible leads to permanent residency.
